From our highly mechanized European Distribution Center (EDC) in Den Hoorn/Delft, we distribute products throughout the EMEA region.
We are currently looking for a Supervisor Incoming Registration for 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will ensure that the Incoming Registration department operates effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, monitoring the quality of registration processes, and achieving agreed objectives.
To be successful in this role, close collaboration with Warehouse Operations Managers, Warehouse Supervisors, Planning, IT, Market Support, and administrative departments is essential. You will be part of the warehouse management team and actively contribute to continuous improvement within the logistics operation.
Duties:
Supervise all activities within Incoming Registration.
Lead, coach, and develop team members.
Ensure accurate and timely registration of all incoming shipments in various logistics systems.
Monitor the quality and accuracy of administrative processes.
Ensure that daily workloads are processed on time.
Plan resources, capacity, and staffing within the department.
Analyze operational KPIs and initiate improvement actions.
Identify and resolve operational disruptions and escalations.
Establish, modify, and maintain work procedures and work instructions related to Incoming Registration.
Implement improvements related to inbound processes and warehouse operations.
Collaborate closely with other warehouse departments to ensure an optimal flow of goods.
Provide support for quality, audit, and EHS activities within the department.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and internal procedures.
Your Profile
MBO+ or Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking.
Experience in a logistics role, preferably with a financial and/or administrative background.
At least 3 years of leadership experience within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
Experience with logistics systems and administrative processes (inventory, control, and goods receipt documentation).
Strong analytical skills.
Experience with Excel.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organizational skills.
Coaching-oriented leadership style.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Experience with process improvement, KPI management (analysis and reporting), and stakeholder management.
