Job summary

Morrison Express Corporation, based in Eindhoven, seeks a Warehouse Operator to join our expanding logistics team. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure orders are processed quickly, accurately, and shipped with the correct carriers in line with SLAs.

You will handle inbound and outbound processes, perform quality checks, assist with stock counts, and participate in a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment at our new 12,000 m2 Eindhoven facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to train for forklift operation if not certified.

• Unpack and inspect incoming goods, verify against invoices.
• Pick, pack and process customer orders on schedule.

Location: You will be based at our Eindhoven location and report to the Warehouse Team Leader.

Warehouse Operator

In this role, you’ll work closely with your colleagues to deliver excellent service and meet our customers’ Service Level Agreements (SLA). You’ll ensure customer orders are processed quickly, accurately, and shipped via the correct carriers for timely delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

Inbound Process

• Coordinate arrivals: Welcome truck drivers and clients, ensuring the right departments are informed.
• Quality control: Receive and inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and correct documentation.
• Accuracy checks: Verify goods against invoices and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Hands-on handling: Efficiently unload deliveries and unpack goods for processing.
• Smart sorting: Organise incoming inventory to keep operations running smoothly.
• Equipment operation: Move pallets safely using a forklift (training provided if needed!).
• Inventory management: Securely store products in their designated warehouse locations.
• Precision counting: Assist with regular stock cycle counts to maintain 100% accuracy.

Outbound Process

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and process customer orders accurately and on schedule.
• Damage prevention: Ensure all products are in perfect condition and report any issues.
• Documentation: Handle the printing of packing lists and all required shipping documents.
• Dispatch prep: Ready orders for delivery or pickup according to the daily schedule.
• Final inspection: Conduct thorough checks on all outgoing goods.
• Loading support: Assist with the efficient loading of outbound trucks.
• Safety first: Strictly follow health and safety standards and company warehouse procedures.
• Equipment care: Maintain and clean warehouse tools to ensure they stay in top shape.

Other Responsibilities

• Clear communication: Partner with Team Leaders to resolve order issues or shipment damages.
• Digital records: Utilize internal systems to maintain accurate reports and data.
• Continuous learning: Engage in internal, external, and on-the-job training programs.
• Process improvement: Proactively suggest ways to make our SOPs even better.
• Team support: Assist the Warehouse Team Leader or Operations Manager with special tasks.
• Admin support: Perform light administrative duties to keep the office side running.
