Job summary

Silgan Dispensing in Ede zoekt een heftruckchauffeur om logistieke processen vlot te laten verlopen. Je werkt met een klein team en legt de focus op veiligheid en nauwkeurigheid bij het verplaatsen van goederen.

Je hebt een geldig heftruckcertificaat, relevante ervaring en beheerst Nederlands of Engels. De functie is fulltime (40 uur) met dagschema en reiskostenvergoeding. Groei- en trainingskansen worden geboden binnen een collegiale werkomgeving.

Qualifications

• Vaardigheden in heftruckbesturing en veiligheidsbewustzijn.
• Proactieve werkhouding en aandacht voor veiligheid.
• Goede communicatie in Dutch of English.

Responsibilities

• Heftruck bedienen voor laden en lossen van goederen.
• Pallets en producten controleren op kwaliteit en verpakking.
• Materialen leveren aan productie en afgewerkte producten terugbrengen.
• Werkruimte schoon en georganiseerd houden volgens veiligheidsvoorschriften.
• Samenwerken met team en productie om werksnelheid te verbeteren.

Wat je gaat doen

As a heftruckchauffeur, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics process at Silgan Dispensing in Ede. Working in a close-knit team of 2–5 colleagues, you will collaborate daily with production operators to ensure that goods are transported, stored, and prepared efficiently. Your role requires precision, a proactive attitude, and a strong focus on safety, as you’ll be handling high-quality products for well-known brands.

What You Will Do:

• Operate: a forklift to load and unload goods, ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials.
• Inspect: products and pallets for quality and compliance before they are shipped or stored.
• Support: production by delivering materials and removing finished goods as needed.
• Maintain: a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate: with your team and production operators to address challenges and improve workflow efficiency.
