Job summary

Silgan Dispensing in Ede zoekt een ervaren heftruckchauffeur voor de dagsdienst. Je werkt in een klein team, draagt bij aan soepele logistieke processen en werkt nauw samen met operators om producten veilig en efficiënt te behandelen.

Het gaat om een tijdelijke aanstelling met uitzicht op vast, een fulltime functie van 40 uur per week, met reiskostenvergoeding en ruimte voor groei en interne training.

Qualifications

• Vervoers- en orderafhandeling volgens procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pallets met folie wikkelen en correct labelen.
• Producten controleren op schade en kwaliteitsafwijkingen en melden.
• Eindproducten in shuttle trailers laden voor logistieke verwerking.
• Interne silo's bijvullen en verpakkingsmaterialen gereedmaken.
• Assisteren van productiemedewerkers wanneer alle logistieke taken zijn afgerond.

As a heftruckchauffeur in dayshift, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics processes at Silgan Dispensing in Ede. You’ll work in a small team of 2–5 colleagues, collaborating closely with production operators to ensure that products are handled efficiently and safely. Your role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and quality standards. With your expertise, you’ll help ensure that our products are ready for further processing or transport, supporting the overall success of our operations.

With your expertise, you’ll help ensure that our products are ready for further processing or transport, supporting the overall success of our operations.

What You Will Do:

• wrap: pallets with foil and label them correctly for identification
• inspect: products for damages and quality deviations, and report findings
• load: finished products into shuttle trailers for efficient logistics handling
• refill: internal silos and prepare packaging materials for production
• assist: production operators when all logistics tasks are completed
