Job summary

Topcon Europe Positioning B.V. in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands, is seeking a proactive Warehouse Associate to join the European Distribution Center.

You will handle inbound and outbound orders, pick, pack, and prepare shipments, and ensure accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires a VMBO (level 4) background, 1–2 years in logistics, forklift and reach truck certificates (or willingness to obtain), and basic SAP/MS Office knowledge.

Qualifications

• Forklift and reach truck certificates, or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Experience using SAP or another WMS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound orders administratively and physically, including STOs/POs.
• Process outbound orders, pick, pack and prepare for shipping.
• Use hand scanner or TOs to process orders and select packing materials.
• Operate forklift or reach truck when required.
• Prepare shipping documents and book courier shipments when needed.
• Maintain accuracy and contribute to inventory checks and improvements.

Warehouse Associate

Topcon Europe Positioning B.V., in the Netherlands, is looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Warehouse Associate.

Location:

Zoetermeer, The Netherlands – Europe Distribution Center (EDC)

Hours:

40 hours per week – from Monday to Friday

On-site presence:

Presence is required at the Topcon warehouse in Zoetermeer from Monday to Friday.

Job Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for an accurate execution and processing of inbound, outbound orders (from acceptance to preparation, picking till packing and making the orders ready for shipping) and some administration. Besides above main tasks the Warehouse Associate also needs to suggest potential improvements in the in- or outbound processes to the Associate Manager Logistics and Carry out administrative tasks related to the processing of operations.

Core Job Duties

Inbound

• Process inbound orders (STOs and POs) both administratively and physically.
• Receive, inspect, and register incoming goods.
• Organize putaway by ensuring the correct quantity is stored in the correct location.

Outbound

• Process outbound orders (deliveries and TOs) both administratively and physically.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders according to work instructions.
• Use a hand scanner or printed TO to process orders.
• Select the appropriate packaging and packing materials.
• Operate a forklift or reach truck when required.

Administration

• Administrative tasks related to the processing of operations, is a key responsibility of the role.
• Prepare shipping documentation and book courier shipments when required.
• Prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast paced warehouse environment.

General

• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard free work environment.
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy when required.
• Assist with other warehouse activities as needed

Minimum Requirements For Job

• VMBO (level 4),
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics/ warehouse
• Forklift certificate & Reachtruck certificate (plus, or willing to obtain)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Experience using SAP or another Warehouse Management System is an advantage.
• Skills and Attributes: Team player, hard worker, detail oriented, hands on mentality, great in organizing workflow, accurate
• VOG Required

Physical Requirements

Being able to work in a warehouse and behind a desk.

Languages

• English mandatory: Good command of written and spoken
• Dutch: a plus for spoken
