Job summary

Topcon Europe Positioning B.V. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Zoetermeer to support inbound and outbound logistics in a modern European Distribution Center.

You will handle putaway, order picking, packing, and shipping documentation while maintaining accurate records and complying with health, safety and quality procedures. Proactive team player with English language skills is essential; Dutch is a plus and forklift certificates are preferred.

Qualifications

• VMBO (level 4) with 1–2 years in logistics/warehouse
• Forklift and Reachtruck certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Inbound: process inbound orders administratively and physically, receive, inspect and register goods
• Outbound: pick, pack and prepare orders; use hand scanner; operate forklift/reach truck when required
• Administration: prepare shipping docs and book courier shipments; maintain accuracy in fast-paced environment
• General: follow safety, quality procedures; keep a clean, organized workplace; support cycle counts and inventory accuracy

Job Title

Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Inbound: process inbound orders (STOs and POs) administratively and physically. Receive, inspect, and register incoming goods. Organize putaway by ensuring correct quantity is stored in the correct location.
• Outbound: process outbound orders (deliveries and TOs) administratively and physically. Pick, pack, and prepare orders according to work instructions. Use a hand scanner or printed TO to process orders. Select appropriate packaging and packing materials. Operate a forklift or reach truck when required.
• Administration: perform basic warehouse administrative tasks to support daily operations. Prepare shipping documentation and book courier shipments when required. Prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• General: follow all health, safety, and quality procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy. Assist with other warehouse activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Education and Experience: VMBO (level 4), 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics/warehouse. Forklift certificate & Reachtruck certificate (plus, or willing to obtain). Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience using SAP or another Warehouse Management System is an advantage.
• Skills and Attributes: Team player, hard worker, detail oriented, hands-on mentality, strong in organizing workflow, accurate.
• Physical Requirements: Being able to work in a warehouse and behind a desk.
• Languages: English mandatory; Dutch language skills are a plus for spoken.
