IDEX Consulting is seeking a talented Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) Underwriter to join our European team in Amsterdam. This role targets a qualified lawyer with transactional experience transitioning into a high-growth M&A insurance environment.

You will underwrite cross-border deals, perform due diligence, and shape underwriting strategy while collaborating with brokers, advisors, and clients. Based in Amsterdam with relocation support from Belgium, the successful candidate will bring strong

• Qualified lawyer (3+ PQE) in the Netherlands or Belgium.
• Background in corporate/M&A, private equity, or transactional law.
• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) with excellent communication in English.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Commercial mindset and interest in M&A insurance.
• Willingness to be based in Amsterdam (relocation from Belgium supported).

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) Underwriter to join our growing European team in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer with strong transactional experience to transition into a dynamic underwriting role within the M&A insurance sector.

You will play a key role in assessing and underwriting M&A risks, working closely with brokers, advisors, and corporate clients across a diverse range of industries. This position offers exposure to high-profile cross-border deals and the opportunity to make a direct impact in a fast-moving, client-focused environment.
