Job summary

Angove Partners is seeking a fresh law graduate to join its Amsterdam office and support M&A insurance transactions from day one. You will coordinate deal processes, review documents, and assist with due diligence and risk assessment, working with underwriting professionals.

The role offers exposure to high-profile deals and collaboration with brokers, advisors and clients across the transaction lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Law (2024–2026).
• Prior internship in M&A, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Deal Advisory, or related transactional environment.
• Strong understanding of M&A transactions, due diligence processes, and deal execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deal processes and prepare key transaction documentation (closing checklists, certificates, memoranda).
• Review transaction documentation and assist with assessing legal and commercial risks.
• Conduct due diligence by collecting and analysing corporate documents, contracts, financial information and other materials.
• Assist with preparation and review of ancillary documents (NDAs, consents, officer certificates, closing deliverables).
• Work closely with underwriters, brokers, advisors, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Contribute to evaluation of transaction risks and support underwriting decisions.
• Manage multiple live transactions in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.

• Work closely with underwriters, brokers, advisors, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Contribute to the evaluation of transaction risks and support underwriting decisions
• Manage multiple live transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment

About You

• Recent graduate (2024, 2025 or 2026) in Law
• Previous internship experience within M&A, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Deal Advisory, or a related transactional environment
• Strong understanding of M&A transactions, due diligence processes, and deal execution
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret complex information
