Xsens is seeking a hands-on Computer Vision Engineer to advance positioning and localization by integrating visual-inertial sensing. You will prototype and deploy VIO/SLAM algorithms, aligning IMU data with camera-based perception, in Enschede with a potential hybrid/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in computer vision, robotics, or sensor fusion.
• 3+ years of industry or research experience (MSc) or PhD with hands-on system-building.
• Proficiency in Python and C++, plus knowledge of multi-view geometry.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement state-of-the-art VIO and SLAM pipelines using inertial and visual data.
• Develop camera models, calibration routines, and sensor synchronization across hardware configurations.
• Apply optimization and filtering for robust 6-DoF pose estimation.
• Stay current with CV/robotics research and assess integration into products.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to deliver end-to-end perception solutions.
