Overview

Temper Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands

As a Visual Communication Designer at Temper, you’re responsible for the brand consistency into our product and vice versa. You’ll drive collaboration between the Product & Technology teams and the Marketing team. While enjoying the freedom, ownership, and learning culture that define Temper.

Responsibilities

• Understanding our customer needs, challenges and what gets them excited, translating insights to ideas, and bringing the ideas to life.
• Work across the customer journey designing a visually cohesive end-to-end user experience, connecting visual brand design to product design and vice versa.
• Create illustrations, graphics, brand assets (ATL/BTL), landing pages, email templates and develop prototypes for user testing.
• End-to-end design process; Researching, strategizing, gathering inspiration, brainstorming, concept development, prototyping, designing assets for implementation.
• Balance user, business and brand needs.
• Conduct experiments to understand what drives a certain outcome.

You are part of the Design team (3 product designers and 1 visual communications designer) and collaborate very closely with the (Brand) Marketing team. You report into the Head of Product.

What You Bring to the Team

• Strong social, inter-relational skills, you are great at building bridges
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations, ‘flexible’ is your middle name
• Experienced in graphic design and visual brand development. You have basic UX and prototyping knowledge. Experience with content creation design for various digital channels.
• Time & project management: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Experience as both product designer and visual designer is a pre
