Job summary

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking a Private Events Supervisor to lead a two-person team and respond to client inquiries from start to finish with details on venue availability, cost, and F&B options.

You will supervise the events process, manage proposals and contracts, and ensure rooms, AV and catering run smoothly while maintaining high standards for Soho House. English and Dutch fluency is essential, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in hospitality or events is required.
• Experience in event coordination and client relations is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in English and Dutch are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries for meetings, corporate events, dinners, screenings and parties from start to finish.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, deposits and internal communications.
• Prepare event function sheets and update catering/hotel software daily.
• Tour and inspect event rooms; conduct site inspections with clients.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure cost-effective event delivery.
