Job summary

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to uphold the highest standards across bedrooms and public areas. You will conduct daily spot checks, train and motivate the team, and assist with planning and organization. This hands-on role also involves occasional cleaning duties alongside administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a similar role, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication to maintain Soho House’s premium guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar housekeeping role.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Clear communication and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily spot checks to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards.
• Train, develop, and motivate the housekeeping team under the Housekeeping Manager.
• Assist with planning and organisation; balance hands-on cleaning with administrative duties.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and outgoing Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Soho House Amsterdam. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the highest standards across our bedrooms and public areas.

You’ll conduct daily spot checks to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards are consistently met. Supporting the Housekeeping Manager, you’ll help train, develop, and motivate the team, while also assisting with planning and organisation. This is a hands‑on role, so you’ll occasionally support with cleaning duties alongside administrative responsibilities.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask in a high‑volume environment
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Flexible availability, including evenings, nights, and weekends
