Job summary

Moonwalk Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Investment Banking professional for a Vice President-level role in Amsterdam. You will lead and execute M&A and corporate-finance transactions within a leading European platform, collaborating closely with senior bankers, corporate clients and financial sponsors.

You will manage execution workstreams, develop complex financial models, and mentor junior team members in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• 6 years+ experience in IB/M&A with live deal exposure.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and DCF skills.
• Experience leading transaction workstreams and junior staff.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A and corporate-finance transactions from pitch through closing.
• Take responsibility for key transaction workstreams and coordinate junior team members.
• Develop and review financial models, valuations, DCFs and transaction analyses.
• Prepare pitch books, board presentations, teasers and information memoranda.
• Work directly with senior management, shareholders and financial sponsors.
• Coordinate due diligence, external advisers and other transaction stakeholders.
• Support senior bankers with origination and business-development activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Mentor and develop Analysts and Associates within the team.

Are you an experienced Investment Banking professional looking to take the next step in your career within a leading international banking platform?

We are currently working with a leading European investment bank that is looking to strengthen its Amsterdam team at Vice President level.

The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions, take ownership of execution workstreams, and work closely with senior bankers, corporate clients and financial sponsors.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and execute M&A and corporate-finance transactions from pitch through closing
• Take responsibility for key transaction workstreams and coordinate junior team members
• Develop and review financial models, valuations, DCFs and transaction analyses
• Prepare pitch books, board presentations, teasers and information memoranda
• Work directly with senior management, shareholders and financial sponsors
• Coordinate due diligence, external advisers and other transaction stakeholders
• Support senior bankers with origination and business-development activities

What we're looking for

• Around 6 years of Investment Banking / M&A experience
• Strong track record of working on live M&A transactions
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills
• Experience managing transaction workstreams and junior team members
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to interact confidently with senior clients and decision-makers
• Fluency in Dutch and English; other European languages would be advantageous
• Previous experience at a leading investment bank, M&A boutique or corporate-finance advisory firm
