Job summary

Urban Outfitters in Rotterdam is seeking a retail team member to deliver friendly customer service and uphold the store’s VIBE and mystery shop standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate till handling, shipment processing and active participation in daily department meetings.

Experience in retail is not required, but strong communication and brand awareness are important. This position is on-site at the Beurstraverse location in Rotterdam.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment is not required.
• Awareness of Urban Outfitters brand and local market.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, friendly customer experience through conversation and service.
• Focus on customers during prime time selling hours to enhance the VIBE.
• Provide a store experience reflecting the company’s mystery shop standards.
• Be positive, respectful and helpful to others; act as a role model.
• Assist in training and development of peers; participate in meetings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in tills, shipment tasks, and fitting room guidelines.
• Participate in processing new shipments and keep receiving/back stock organized.
• Complete weekly tasks (markdowns, re-tickets, transfers, RTVs) promptly.
• Adhere to loss prevention guidelines and inventory control measures.
• Follow health & safety regulations.
• Uphold store merchandising and cleanliness; keep floor stocked and ticketed.
• Support sales through merchandising and display projects; stay current on product trends.
