Job summary

Holland Capital in Amsterdam is seeking a full-time intern to join our VC team. Over five months you will immerse yourself in the investment process and build hands-on skills across sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support.

You will screen opportunities, perform market research, test unit economics, and participate in founder meetings. A strong academic record and fluency in Dutch and English are valued, with a competitive monthly salary.

Qualifications

Curiosity in healthcare, tech or food & agri and its impact on people and business.
Analytical, charismatic and pragmatic with a proactive attitude.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Outstanding academic record, likely with a degree in finance, economics, medicine or science.
Comfortable with analytics, numbers and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Support the venture team in all phases of the investment process.
Source attractive investment opportunities and screen inbound deal-flow.
Perform due diligence on commercial, strategic and financial levels.
Build market research in themes of interest within our target sectors and markets.
Stress test unit economics and financial growth models.
Actively participate in meetings with inspiring founders.
Support and work with our portfolio companies.
