Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience conducting vendor security due diligence or third-party security assessments.
• Strong research skills and the judgment to distinguish evidence from marketing claims.
• Familiarity with SaaS security practices and public security, privacy, and compliance documentation.
• Analytical mindset and comfort investigating discrepancies, documenting uncertainty, and checking whether a score reflects the underlying evidence.
• Clear written communication and careful documentation habits.
• Self-starter mindset: initiative, adaptable, thrives in ambiguity, builds processes from scratch.

Aufgaben

• Verify vendor research by checking AI-generated findings against saved sources and prioritizing vendors by customer usage.
• Build and maintain the vendor library; research new SaaS vendors, resolve incomplete records, and review significant changes.
• Resolve source-access gaps by finding accessible sources or uploading documents when needed.
• Confirm public security claims by verifying evidence for SSO, DPAs, subprocessor lists, and SOC 2 existence.
• Measure accuracy and calibrate scoring by comparing computed scores with customer ratings and investigating differences.
• Improve research quality by documenting recurring errors and feeding actionable feedback to engineering.
• Recommend criteria updates as vendor practices evolve and definitions change.
• Maintain defensible evidence with clear reasoning and research dates; keep sources traceable.
