Job summary

Evolvebenchmark is seeking a UX Designer / Frontend Developer to own the design and implementation of user-facing experiences. You’ll shape how people interact with dense performance data, turning metrics into clear visuals, and work in a hybrid setup designing in Figma and bringing those designs to life in code.

You’ll collaborate with our engineering team to ship polished features, build responsive frontend components, maintain a cohesive design system, and conduct user research to iterate

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating UX design and frontend development
• Proficiency in Figma with components, prototyping, and design systems
• Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with a modern framework (React, Vue, or Svelte)
• Eye for data visualization and information hierarchy
• Ability to work autonomously and own projects
• Nice-to-have: experience designing for technical audiences
• Nice-to-have: Rust, Dioxus, or egui
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with 3D graphics or GPU pipelines
• Nice-to-have: motion design or animation
• Nice-to-have: accessibility best practices

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive interfaces for displaying benchmark results, system analytics, and performance comparisons
• Create and maintain a cohesive design system in Figma
• Build responsive, performant frontend components
• Collaborate closely with our engineering team to ship polished features
• Conduct user research and iterate based on feedback
• Balance aesthetic quality with technical constraints
