Job summary

Canon Production Printing in Venlo, NL, seeks a Chemical Engineer to drive ink material development for high-performance UVgel systems. Responsibilities include translating product requirements into robust ink designs, scaling processes from lab to production, and collaborating with chemists, process engineers and system experts.

You bring a degree in chemistry/chemical engineering, knowledge of pigment dispersions and a practical problem-solving mindset, plus fluent English and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of pigment dispersions, colloid chemistry and processing technology.
• Ability to translate material understanding into robust UV ink formulations.

Responsibilities

• Transfer chemical ink designs from lab scale to manufacturing.
• Define ink specifications with stakeholders and print-system experts.
• Translate image quality, robustness and reliability targets into material windows.
• Solve technical challenges in UVgel ink material development.
• Capture knowledge in models to accelerate predictive development cycles.
