Job summary

Canon Production Printing in Venlo, NL, seeks a Print Process Researcher (Physics) to advance our inkjet printing technology. You will decompose complex requirements into state-of-the-art printing processes, guiding the development of inks, print heads, media and image processing while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background and willingness to learn.
• Experience combining experiments and modelling to understand the physics of the printing process.
• Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders; strong planning and project management skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Proven work experience in product development is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Steer development of technology assets (inks, print heads, media, image processing).
• Balance print process architecture to realize right print quality, application range, time-to-market and cost effectiveness.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver a working print process enabling new applications for graphics and industrial printing.
