Qualifications

Overview

The UAT Test Manager role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of automated systems used for regulatory reporting. The position requires expertise in testing methodologies, transaction reporting regulations, and financial market knowledge to validate systems that support regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute UAT test plans, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and compliance teams to understand regulatory requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for regulatory reporting systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
• Validate data accuracy and integrity in reports generated by automated systems
• Ensure end‑to‑end testing of workflows related to regulatory submissions, including data extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure testing processes align with new requirements.
• Provide detailed test results and reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks and recommendations for improvement.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating with end-users and addressing feedback

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, finance, or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in UAT testing, with a focus on transaction reporting
• Strong knowledge of transaction reporting regulations – MiFID II and knowledge of OTC derivative products – especially foreign exchange products and booking models
• Complete understanding of front‑to‑back testing and lifecycle events within transaction reporting
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify issues and propose solutions effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present findings clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of transaction reporting processes within financial markets
• Familiarity with FX as an asset class is mandatory
• Good to have knowledge of at least one automation tool – Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, PlayWright
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
