Job summary
Atos is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team in the Netherlands. You will craft scalable automation solutions using Java, API testing with REST Assured and Postman, and UI automation with Playwright, integrated into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
As part of an Agile team, you will design reusable frameworks, convert manual tests to automated tests, execute regression tests, and track defects with Jira. German B2 is required; Docker/Cucumber/Gherkin are a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong programming experience in Java.
- Hands-on API testing experience using REST Assured and Postman.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
- Good understanding of STLC and defect lifecycle.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- German language at least B2 level.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java.
- Design scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
- Identify automation candidates and convert manual test cases into automated tests.
- Perform hands-on API testing using REST Assured and Postman.
- Validate REST APIs, authentication, and backend integrations.
- Create reusable API test utilities and test data strategies.

- Execute regression, smoke, functional, and integration testing.
