Job summary

New10 is a fintech scale-up backed by ABN AMRO Bank, based in the Netherlands. We’re hiring a NL-based TypeScript Engineer to strengthen our backend microservices (AWS serverless) and collaborate with frontend (React) and infra teams.

You’ll work on designing, implementing and evolving scalable services in a fast-paced fintech environment, with a strong emphasis on reliability and security. You’ll own technical decisions, write thorough tests (unit, integration and E2E), participate in

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS ecosystem.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Strong design skills for microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and asynchronous messaging patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on architecture, technical design and the building of applications to improve team competency.
• Produce clean, stable, fast and well-architected code.
• Own code quality with unit, integration and E2E tests.
• Own and operate the backend of New10, rotating on-call incident management shifts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, Salesforce, PO, business analyst, UX designer and data analyst.
