Job summary

AeronautX is seeking a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) to bring operational and instructional expertise to a growing training team in the Netherlands.

You will deliver theoretical, simulator and ground instruction in compliance with EASA, UK CAA and AeronautX POT training programmes, helping shape a high quality training environment from the start.

Qualifications

• Valid EASA Flight Crew Licence and Type Rating for privileges exercised.
• Valid EASA TRI(A) certificate with required privileges.
• Operational flight experience and recent experience in the role.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part-FCL, ATO requirements, SOPs, CRM and Human Factors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Type Rating, Recurrent, Remedial and Refresher Training.
• Deliver simulator and ground training within licence privileges and TRI certificate.
• Lead professional briefings and debriefings and tailor training to trainees.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Document training progress accurately and maintain records.
• Contribute to training quality and programme development.
• Represent AeronautX professionally to trainees and clients.

Job description

As a Type Rating Instructor (TRI), you will bring operational and instructional expertise to a team establishing a professional, safe and high quality training environment.

You will deliver theoretical, simulator and associated ground instruction in accordance with EASA, UK CAA and applicable ATO requirements and approved AeronautX training programmes.

Multiple positions available.

Your Tasks

• Conduct Type Rating, Recurrent, Refresher and Remedial Training.
• Deliver simulator and ground training within the privileges of your licence, ratings and TRI certificate.
• Conduct professional briefings and debriefings and adapt training to individual trainee needs.
• Evaluate and document trainee performance and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Recommend additional or remedial training where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate training documentation and records.
• Contribute to training quality and continuous improvement of training materials and programmes.
• Represent AeronautX professionally towards trainees and clients.

Your Profile

• Valid EASA Flight Crew Licence and Type Rating appropriate for the privileges exercised.
• Valid EASA TRI(A) certificate with the required privileges.
• Previous operational flight experience and appropriate recent experience.
• Good knowledge of EASA Part-FCL, applicable ATO requirements, SOPs, CRM and Human Factors.
• Strong instructional, briefing/debriefing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to objectively assess trainee performance.
• Ability to explain complex technical subjects clearly.
• Excellent English; Dutch and/or other languages are an advantage.
• Strong professional customer orientation.
• Eligibility to work in the EU.
