Job summary

Bulsink B.V. is a specialist general contractor delivering turnkey projects for hotels, offices and repurposed buildings. The Cost Expert will price projects from drawings, prepare cost budgets, and assess financial feasibility with a focus on manufacturability.

With a strong focus on Dutch and international collaboration, you will work with the project team to select materials and negotiate with suppliers, while seeking opportunities to optimize cost and value.

Qualifications

• HBO level working and thinking ability; degree in Construction or Engineering preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as Cost Expert, Calculator or similar.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Determine project price based on construction drawings and other data.
• Draw up estimates, investment and cost budgets considering technical aspects.
• Assess projects for financial feasibility and manufacturability.
• Draw up cost calculations and estimates and incorporate into a calculation.
• With the project team, determine parties involved and materials to be used.
• Request quotations and monitor delivery times and agreements.
• Identify opportunities and risks and think in terms of solutions with the customer.
