Job summary

Bulsink B.V. is a specialist general contractor delivering turnkey projects for hotels, offices and repurposed buildings. The Cost Expert will price projects from drawings, prepare cost budgets, and assess financial feasibility with a focus on manufacturability.

With a strong focus on Dutch and international collaboration, you will work with the project team to select materials and negotiate with suppliers, while seeking opportunities to optimize cost and value.

Qualifications

• HBO level working and thinking ability; degree in Construction or Engineering preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as Cost Expert, Calculator or similar.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You determine the price of the project based on construction drawings and other data. You draw up estimates, investment and cost budgets, taking into account the technical aspects of the project.

Your core responsibilities as a Cost Expert include:

You will assess projects for both financial feasibility and manufacturability

You will draw up cost calculations and estimates and incorporate these into a calculation

Together with the project team, you will determine the parties involved and the materials to be used

You will request quotations and monitor delivery times and agreements

You identify opportunities and risks and always think in terms of solutions together with the customer

YOUR PROFILE?

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably a degree in Construction or Engineering
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a Cost Expert, Calculator or similar position
• Have a proficiency in both Dutch and English
