We are looking for a reliable Turndown Attendant with a keen eye for detail to join our evening team. In this role, you will go beyond the basics to create a warm, luxurious retreat for our guests. By preparing the rooms for a restful night, from perfecting the bedding to setting the ideal ambient lighting, you ensure that every guest feels truly welcome. If you take pride in the finer details and delivering high service standards, we would love to meet you.

What will you do?

As a Turndown Employee, you will be responsible for perfectly preparing guest rooms for the evening by performing turndown services, including making beds, closing curtains, and adjusting lighting to create a welcoming atmosphere.

• Refresh bedding, arrange pillows and blankets as needed, and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Replace used towels, replenish amenities, and empty trash bins to keep the rooms tidy.
• Ensure each room meets the strict presentation requirements of the hotel in Amsterdam.
• Remain alert to report any maintenance issues, damage, or specific guest requests to your supervisors.
• Act as a collaborative team member and support the housekeeping department with other related tasks as needed to ensure a seamless experience for every guest.

In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you will find one of the city's most iconic five‑star hotels: Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event spaces, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Located just 500 meters from Amsterdam Central Station, it is an absolute prime location.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in cleaning, hospitality, or housekeeping is a plus but not required.
• Has a keen eye for detail and understands what 5‑star service entails.
• Has a positive attitude and is a true team player.
• Basic skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Reliability and punctuality; available for evening shifts from 5 PM to 11 PM.

• An exciting role as a Turndown Employee for a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 38 hours per week in the heart of Amsterdam.
• A salary according to the Hospitality Collective Labor Agreement, €14.90 to €15.68 per hour, depending on experience.
