Job summary

Ozark Center is seeking a Residential Psych Tech (RPT) to join the cottage based treatment team. You will provide day-to-day care, supervise residents, and help implement individualized treatment plans.

This role requires a high school diploma, experience with youth, and willingness to work overtime and various shifts. You will collaborate with staff to support residents' recovery and well-being, with a focus on trauma-informed care and reporting to the Cottage Supervisor.

Qualifications

• A high school degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience in group care or a professional setting with youth and children.

Responsibilities

• Charts all pertinent observation on a continuing basis regarding residents
• Subject to mandatory overtime and shift changes
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Supervises and assists residents in wake-up, meals, recreation, counseling, education/vocation needs, daily routine and hygiene, house rules and sleep
• Works as a team member with other staff to implement program plans
• Provides direct behavior observations and reinforcement of appropriate behaviors as prescribed by the cottage based treatment team
• Participates in Team Meetings, shift information exchanges, daily cottage briefings and has input in the evaluation and treatment plan progress of each resident
• TB test upon hire and annually thereafter.
