Ozark Center is looking for a Residential Psych Tech (RPT) in Beverwijk, Netherlands. The RPT will provide day-to-day care and supervision for children, assisting in the implementation of individualized treatment plans within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities include charting observations, supervising daily routines, and participating in team meetings. A high school degree is required, and familiarity with behavioral management techniques is preferred. The role also demands flexibility and the ability to handle stress effectively.
Residential Psych Tech (RPT) is a staff level employee who is a member of the cottage based treatment team and is responsible for providing day-to-day care and supervision of the children/residents and assists in the implementation of the individualized treatment plan of each resident as prescribed. RPT provides services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance abuse and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. RPT demonstrates a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. RPT will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. RPT reports to the Cottage Supervisor.
