Job summary

Liberty ARC is seeking a Staff Training Specialist to coordinate, deliver, and document employee training programs to support staff competency, regulatory compliance, and quality service delivery. This role provides instruction, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support to employees while maintaining accurate training records and ensuring required certifications are completed and maintained.

The position requires strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach hands-on

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.
One year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Current Red Cross 1st Aid/CPR Instructor and SCIP-R instructor preferred; obtain within 3–12 months.
Must read and write English and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Schedule, train, document and coach employees on an ongoing basis.
Creates a positive learning environment.
Proactively shares information and resources with others.
Track and record training attendance and update training records.
Assist in curriculum assessment and updates of new trainings.
Identify obstacles and address them promptly to meet objectives.
Maintain training equipment, tools, and instructional materials for safety and organization.
Performs other duties as required.
