Optiver in Amsterdam is offering a Software Engineering Intern role, pairing you with a mentor to build real-world applications and ship code to production during a ten-week program.

You will dive into trading fundamentals, work with senior engineers and traders to design, test, and deploy your code, and tackle real-world problems to sharpen your analytical and coding skills. Based on performance, you could receive a full-time offer after graduation.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, graduating in 2027.
• Proficient in industry-standard coding languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and system operations.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with an interest in the financial industry.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deep dive into trading fundamentals, from theoretical concepts to financial markets, strategies and cutting-edge technology.
• Work closely with senior engineers and traders to design, develop, test, and ship your code to production.
