Tardis Group in Amsterdam is seeking a Trading Operations Specialist with a strong background in equity options to drive the full lifecycle of listed and OTC trades. You will collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Technology and Operations to ensure robust processing and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in Trading Operations, Trade Support or Middle Office.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting equity options trading is essential.
• Deep understanding of options trade lifecycle events, settlements and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of listed and OTC equity options trades from execution through settlement.
• Monitor daily trading activity and investigate operational exceptions.
• Perform reconciliations across positions, cash, transactions and valuations.
• Manage clearing, settlement and counterparty interactions.
• Monitor option expiries, exercises, assignments and corporate actions.
• Support collateral and margin processes.
• Assist with onboarding brokers, counterparties and trading venues.
• Contribute to operational improvements, automation initiatives and system enhancements.

Trading Operations Specialist (Equity Options)

A growing quantitative investment firm is seeking a Trading Operations Specialist with strong equity options experience to join its Amsterdam-based team. This role sits at the heart of the trading function, supporting the full lifecycle of listed and OTC options trading across global markets.

Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Technology and Operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient trade processing, operational controls and scalable infrastructure within a fast-paced systematic investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of listed and OTC equity options trades from execution through settlement.
• Monitor daily trading activity and investigate operational exceptions.
• Perform reconciliations across positions, cash, transactions and valuations.
• Manage clearing, settlement and counterparty interactions.
• Monitor option expiries, exercises, assignments and corporate actions.
• Support collateral and margin processes.
• Assist with onboarding brokers, counterparties and trading venues.
• Contribute to operational improvements, automation initiatives and system enhancements.

Requirements

• 2-7 years' experience in Trading Operations, Trade Support or Middle Office.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting equity options trading is essential.
• Deep understanding of options trade lifecycle events, settlements and reconciliations.
• Experience gained within a hedge fund, investment firm, market maker or bank.
• Familiarity with clearing brokers, prime brokers and collateral management processes.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Python or SQL is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• Must be based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate independently.
• Equity options experience is a mandatory requirement.
• Options must have been a core focus of your current or previous role.
• Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available.
• Candidates must have the right to work in the Netherlands.
