Job summary

Maintec in Vlissingen (Netherlands) seeks a TIG Stainless Steel Welder to prepare and weld thin-wall stainless components. You will work with 2 mm thick material using TIG welding (process 141). Overtime and long-term opportunities are available, with weekly pay and pension accrual from day one.

Ideal candidates have hands-on TIG experience with thin-wall stainless steel, along with fillet and butt weld capabilities. EU citizenship is mandatory; driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• English level: B1 minimum (mandatory).
• Proven hands-on TIG welding experience with thin-wall stainless steel and material from 2 mm thick.
• Experience with fillet welds (FW) and butt welds (BW).
• Experience with TIG process 141 and material group 8.1; FM5 filler material.
• Ability to demonstrate ISO 9606-1 qualification; testing can be arranged.
• Welder qualification testing can be arranged by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thin-wall stainless steel components and joints for TIG welding.
• Produce accurate fillet welds and butt welds.
• Maintain joint alignment and control heat input.
• Check welds for cleanliness, consistency and defects.
