IDM is seeking a TIG Welder in Vlissingen, Netherlands, to prepare and weld thin-wall aluminium components using TIG process 141. You will handle pipe-to-plate connections, butt joints, and maintain precise heat input and joint alignment. English level required is at least B1, and EU citizenship is mandatory.

Full-time position with long-term opportunities, weekly pay, pension accrual from day one, and accommodation plus transport support provided. Welder testing can be arranged by the employer.

Qualifications

• English level B1 minimum mandatory.
• TIG welding experience with thin-wall aluminium including material from 2 mm thick.
• Experience with pipe-to-plate fillet welds (FW) and butt welds (BW).
• Experience with TIG process 141 and aluminium material group 23.
• Ability to demonstrate skills relevant to ISO 9606-2 qualification; testing can be arranged.
• Driving license preferred.
• EU citizenship mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Prepare aluminium components and joint surfaces for TIG welding.
• Produce pipe-to-plate fillet welds (FW).
• Produce clean and consistent butt welds (BW).
• Work with aluminium alloys in material group 23.
• Maintain joint alignment and control heat input.
• Check completed welds for consistency, finish and visible defects.
