Job summary

Trinseo Netherlands B.V. in Terneuzen seeks an apprentice for a 6-month internship in Thermoplastic Composites Engineering at the R&D Center of Excellence. The role focuses on lab-scale equipment optimization, process window definition, impregnation evaluation, and thorough documentation of results.

The successful candidate will join a global team, require fluency in English, and Dutch language is preferred. Accommodation and ongoing learning opportunities are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• At a minimum, at the latest stage of a Bachelor study (Master preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Material Engineering, Composite, or other relevant fields.
• Previous or current experience in machine and part design or processing is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Dutch is a preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimise and automate production equipment at the lab scale.
• Investigate and define the process window.
• Evaluate impregnation quality.
• Characterising the manufactured samples.
