Job summary

Trinseo Netherlands B.V. is seeking a motivated engineer to join the Global Innovation Center in Terneuzen.

You will take end-to-end responsibility for translating requirements into manufacturing and test equipment, conducting trials, and analyzing results to strengthen GIC Terneuzen's capabilities in polymer processing and manufacturing technology. The role offers hands-on work across injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, and related processes, with collaboration across R&D and customer

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field with emphasis on mechanics and polymer processing.
1-3 years of work experience preferred in polymer processing or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with polymer processing, testing, and machine design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead investigations and develop manufacturing technologies (injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, compression molding, overmolding).
Translate customer requirements into practical manufacturing and testing solutions.
Develop specialized test methods to meet evolving needs.
Design, validate, operate, and maintain manufacturing and test equipment.
Document trial results accurately and communicate findings.
Collaborate across R&D and customer projects and participate in DoE.
Work with technologists to link process, morphology, and material performance.
