Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corporation seeks a Test Engineer to manage the test center and testing equipment for new products. You will combine technical knowledge with practical and analytical tasks and collaborate with Product Engineering, Product Management, Application Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing on an international scale.

You will travel for field tests in the Benelux and Germany, develop new test methods, and set new standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer degree or equivalent.
• Experience in independent, hands-on work.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Wamiliarity with CAD tools is helpful.

What will you do?

Job summary:

As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for managing our test center and the equipment used for testing (new) products. You combine in-depth technical knowledge with both practical and analytical tasks and work closely with colleagues from Product Engineering, Product Management, Application Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing. You operate in an international environment with applications in the food and beverage industry, the automotive industry, and other sectors.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage our test center and all equipment used to test our (new) products.
• Combine in-depth technical knowledge with both practical and analytical tasks.
• Work closely with colleagues from Product Engineering, Product Management, Application Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing, but also be highly independent.
• Work in an international environment with applications in the food and beverage industry, the automotive industry, and various other sectors.
• Occasionally travel for field tests, mainly in the Benelux and Germany.
• Develop new test methods and establish new standards.
• Provide clear reports to explain test results to stakeholders

What do we ask of you?

• You are a mechanical engineer or have an equivalent level of working and thinking.
• You have relevant work experience.
• You enjoy working independently with minimal supervision and have a ‘hands‑on’ mentality.
• You believe work should be carried out according to the following priorities: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
• You can design products with 3D CAD solutions or are willing to learn.
• You have excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English.
