Qualinx BV is hiring a Test Engineer to support development and production release of test solutions for GNSS/IoT semiconductor products. You will work with Design, Product Engineering, Reliability, and external manufacturing partners to advance digital and memory test activities.

Responsibilities include ATE program development, silicon characterization, yield improvement, and production support, while implementing SCAN, MBIST, JTAG, and Flash testing, plus automation for efficiency.

Formación

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities relevant to semiconductor test.
• Experience with digital interfaces and ATE workflows in wafer sort or final test.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, MATLAB or similar for test automation.

Responsabilidades

• Support development, validation, and release of production test solutions.
• Develop and debug ATE test programs for wafer sort and final test.
• Characterize silicon, correlate data, and qualify production.
• Analyze test results to identify yield improvements.
• Investigate test failures with Design and Product Engineering to root-cause issues.
• Improve test time and coverage; optimize systems.
• Support OSATs and manufacturers during ramp and bring-up.
• Implement and validate SCAN, MBIST, JTAG, and Flash testing methods.
• Create automation scripts and tools to enhance data analysis.
• Maintain test documentation and drive process improvements.

Job Description

As a Test Engineer, you will support the development and production release of test solutions for Qualinx products. Working closely with Design, Product Engineering, Reliability, and external manufacturing partners, you will contribute to digital and memory test development activities, product characterization, yield improvement, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, validation, and release of production test solutions for Qualinx products.
• Support in developing and debugging ATE test programs for wafer sort and final test.
• Support silicon characterization, correlation, and production qualification activities.
• Analyze test results and production data to identify issues and opportunities for yield improvement.
• Work with Design and Product Engineering teams to investigate test failures and support root cause analysis.
• Contribute to test time optimization and test coverage improvements.
• Support OSAT and manufacturing partners during product bring-up and production ramp.
• Assist in implementing and validating digital test methodologies, including SCAN, MBIST, JTAG, and Flash testing.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve test efficiency and data analysis.
• Maintain test documentation and support continuous improvement of test processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, product engineering, or a related role.
• Semiconductor test development and production test flow experience.
• Experience with semiconductor testing at wafer sort and/or package level.
• Experience with embedded digital interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, SWD, and JTAG.
• Understanding of digital test methodologies, including SCAN, MBIST, JTAG/Boundary Scan, IDDQ and Flash Memory Testing
• Experience with ATE platforms or test development environments such as NI and Teradyne IG-XL.
• Programming or scripting experience in Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar languages.
• Understanding of electronics fundamentals and digital circuit operation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse cross-functional team.
• Experience with NI PXIe, Teradyne J750HD, or UltraFLEX platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e MATLAB, JMP, or equivalent).
• Experience with ATPG and vector conversion flows using tools for production ATE implementation.
• Knowledge of Design-for-Test (DFT) concepts, including Scan, MBIST, JTAG, Boundary Scan, and ATPG.
• Experience working with OSATs in NPI and high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to WLCSP products, wafer sort, and wafer-level development and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test data analysis and yield monitoring tools is preferred.
