Job summary

spriteCloud B.V. is seeking an automation-focused engineer to join client engineering teams across finance, logistics and the public sector.

You will build and maintain automation frameworks, wire tests into CI/CD pipelines, and write documentation that people actually use. Based in the Netherlands, you’ll work at client sites, adapt quickly to unfamiliar codebases, coach QAs, and advise clients on what to automate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or comparable tools.
• API testing experience via Postman, SoapUI or Dredd.
• CI/CD integration: wired tests into a pipeline, not just run them locally.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Job description

Build automation that lasts for enterprise clients in finance, logistics and the public sector. We hire your judgement and then we use it.

The role

You work at client sites, inside their engineering teams. Finance, logistics, public sector. Some engagements hand you a broken framework to fix. Others start from zero.

Either way: you build and maintain automation frameworks, wire tests into CI/CD pipelines, write documentation that people actually use, and coach the QAs around you. You also advise clients on what to automate and what not to.

Client work means switching contexts. You'll work across sectors and stacks, and you'll need to get productive in an unfamiliar codebase fast.

What we're looking for

• Based in the Netherlands, valid work permit required
• 3+ years building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or comparable tools
• API testing experience via Postman, SoapUI or Dredd
• CI/CD integration: you've wired tests into a pipeline, not just run them locally
• ISTQB Foundation or higher (or TMAP) is a plus
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Performance testing or cloud experience (Docker, GCP, Kubernetes) is a bonus
