Job summary

Media Markt Hoofdkantoor is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for a temporary assignment to monitor and optimize warehouse processes. The role focuses on ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement from warehouse to stores, while collaborating with Supply Chain, Warehouse operations, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Science & Analytics, Business Management, Engineering or Economics.
• 4–5 years of related experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Business Analysis or Automation and Reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel and big data.

Responsibilities

• Double cross-dock flows and minimise disruptions.
• Analyze warehouse processes to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with Demand Planners, Warehouse operations, and technical teams to ensure alignment on the plan and execution.
• Monitor the execution of the plan and address disruptions or risks with mitigation plans.
• Balance inbound volume forecast with sales, costs and operational capacity.
• Monitor KPIs and escalate issues as needed.
