Job summary

Aggreko plc in Moerdijk, NL is seeking an experienced Service & Repair Temperature Control Technician to restore TC assets to rental readiness and advance to Team Lead S&R TC within 12 months.

You will prepare estimates, define parts, perform repairs under supervision, and collaborate across Europe. Dutch and English required; occasional European travel; visa sponsorship not needed.

Qualifications

• S&R experience with TC fleet and products.
• Holding the F-gas certification to work on TC equipment.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders in English and Dutch.

We are hiring

We are hiring an experienced Service & Repair Temperature Control Technician with the potential to advance within 12 months to Team Lead S&R TC.

Your mission

To achieve our operational and financial objectives, you will be responsible for the repairs offered at S&R Moerdijk to bring them back into rental status and make them available for rental.

When the fleet arrives, you will have to prepare an estimate, plan of action, define parts requirements and ultimately carry out the repairs under the supervision of your team lead. Initially you report to the S&R TC leader as technician. You also work closely alongside the team with the aim of taking over this role. This would represent a clear shift in your role, involving direct reports and a change in your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Upon arrival of the fleet, prepare an estimate, determine which parts are needed and draw up an action plan.
• Carrying out maintenance and repair work in accordance with company guidelines and/or in consultation with the team lead.
• Testing, detecting and resolving faults and if required, customizing the sets according to Aggreko standards or even customer requirements.
• You are personally responsible for repairing the sets so that they are immediately ready for rental; this also includes noting their external condition, all under supervision of the Team lead.
• Keeping track of your timesheets, allocating parts to your service orders, and handling other administrative duties associated with the role of a Technical Service Technician.
• Exchanging expertise across S&R TC colleagues across the European business.

Key performance indicators

• Contribute to achieving Europe EBITDA target.
• Reduction in average repair time of our (TC) assets.
• Lower % of assets in Major Repair status.
• Support for the rental business if required.
• Increase our TC Fleet availability to achieve our revenue targets.

Location

This role will be based at our central repair locations in Europe Moerdijk (Fuutweg 1, 4791 PB Klundert -NL).

What we’re looking for

• S&R experience with TC Fleet and associated products. Technically interested - able to understand and learn about a wider range of products and applications.
• Holding the appropriate certifications to work on TC equipment (F-gas).
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills - communicates clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders (internal and external)
• Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment
• You live nearby the depot at Moerdijk, and do not need visa sponsorship.
• Advanced level of Dutch and business proficiency in English
• Willingness and ability to occasionally travel across Europe
