Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a temporary Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for a remote role based in the Netherlands. The position involves site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities across sites, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and local regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or RN, fluency in Dutch and English, and proven monitoring experience in the Netherlands. Strong communication and computer skills are required, with ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Previous monitoring experience in The Netherlands
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Performs site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring and close-out visits, on-site or remotely, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and GPP.
• Verifies informed consent and protects patient confidentiality and data integrity.
• Reviews ISF/TMF; supports IP inventory, labeling, and storage per protocol.
• Documents activities and supports recruitment and retention strategies; tracks status and actions.
• Liaises with study site personnel; ensures training and compliance of site team.
• Contributes to audit readiness and participates in sponsor meetings and training.
