Job summary

ICON plc is seeking a Clinical Research Associate II / Senior CRA in the Netherlands. Hybrid or Remote work available from Groningen, contributing to high-quality monitoring, patient safety and data integrity across early-phase trials.

You will monitor sites, manage documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure study milestones and regulatory compliance. Strong English, organisational skills and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality monitoring activities across studies.
Conduct onsite and remote monitoring visits as required.
Verify informed consent, source data, and protocol adherence.
Maintain ISF and TMF documentation for inspection readiness.
Identify risks, issues and data discrepancies and escalate.
Build relationships with investigators, site staff and sponsor representatives.
Support site staff through training and ongoing communication.
Contribute to regulatory submissions and audit preparation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve milestones and recruitment goals.
Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
