Job Invest seeks an All-round Technical Mechanic to maintain hundreds of machines, tools and molds, ensuring minimal downtime and alignment with the production schedule. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and coordinate with team leaders to keep output steady.

You’ll track maintenance and calibration schedules, order parts, and work with machine software and databases. You’ll explore automation ideas to improve efficiency and production quality, contributing to ongoing tech development

Function

As an All-round Technical Mechanic, you make sure hundreds of different machines, tools and molds keep doing what they're supposed to do. You carry out preventive maintenance, trace faults and repair machines when needed. Meanwhile, you keep the production schedule in mind and coordinate your work with the team leaders, so everything keeps running as smoothly as possible.

But you're definitely not just tinkering with tools! You keep track of maintenance schedules and calibrations, order parts and liaise with suppliers and external mechanics. The digital side of technology is also part of the job. You work with machine software, manage settings and databases, and log the work you've carried out.

And do you spot opportunities to automate a manual task or use a machine more smartly? Then you'll get the space to look into it and discuss your ideas. That way, you're not just solving problems, but also helping to make production a little better all the time!

Job Requirements

What do you bring as an All-round Technical Mechanic?

• You have a vocational (MBO) level of work and thinking, with a technical background or relevant work experience;
• You have technical insight and enjoy investigating and solving faults;
• You're good with computers and have an interest in machine software and automation;
• You work independently, accurately and keep a clear overview of your tasks;
• You enjoy thinking along about technical improvements and new solutions;
• You communicate easily with colleagues, suppliers and external mechanics.
