Job summary

Durabel Recruitment B.V. is looking for an Internal Service Engineer in Venlo. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance as well as repair work on machines. The role offers a varied working environment and a direct contract with the employer.

Job description

Are you looking for a varied position as an Internal Service Engineer, where you can start immediately on contract? For our client in Venlo, an internationally operating company in mushroom cultivation and composting technology, we are looking for a motivated internal service engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance and repair work on machines and installations. You will ensure that the technical systems function optimally so that production targets are achieved efficiently and safely.

What do we offer?

• Salary between €2,750 and €3,500 gross per month;
• Direct contract with the employer.
• Reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer for travel expenses.
• Working hours during day shifts: Monday to Thursday from 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 3:45/4:15 p.m., and Friday from 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 2:45/3:15 p.m.

What are you going to do?

• Working on unique machines in the workshop, delivering custom work rather than mass production;
• Assembling various components, both manufactured in-house and purchased externally, and building the machines from start to finish;
• Assembling the parts with precision according to drawings, checking your own work, and making minor adjustments independently;
• Consulting with the foreman for solutions to more complex issues;
• Performing operations such as grinding and drilling;
• Thoroughly testing every movement of the machine to ensure optimal operation;
• Actively contributing ideas for improvements and ensuring that everything is neat and ready for transport;
• Acting as a valuable source of information for colleagues thanks to your knowledge and experience;
• Working in a close-knit team of eight mechanics, where cooperation and craftsmanship are key.

What will you bring?

• Minimum MBO-4 working and thinking level, obtained through education or experience in mechatronics or a comparable technical field;
• Fluent command of the Dutch language.
• Some work experience as a machine builder;
• Proactive, independent, and accurate work attitude.
