As a Technician Cabin, you play a key role in building and qualifying ASML’s advanced DUV (Deep Ultraviolet) and most advanced EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet) lithography systems. In this role, you prepare, assemble, and qualify machine cabins with high precision and care. Your work ensures that critical electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic components are installed safely and correctly. You contribute directly to product quality, production flow, and continuous improvement within ASML’s manufacturing environment.

Role and responsibilities

This role combines hands‑on assembly work with a strong focus on quality and safety. You work in a structured production flow while actively supporting process improvements.

You will:

• Build, apply and share your skills and knowledge to execute the daily operation as part of a team of technicians;
• Assemble and prepare machine cabins according to technical specifications and drawings;
• Install, connect, and adjust electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic components;
• Route and secure wiring, hoses, plumbing, and ducting inside machine cabins;
• Perform functional checks, manual adjustments, and (basic) testing or qualification activities;
• Work with a rigorous Safety and Quality mindset to reach agreed specifications and delivery times according to the latest standards;
• Commit to the standards and focus on continuously improving them by looking to eliminate forms of waste (TIM WOODS);
• Responsible for day‑to‑day progress and output powered by giving and receiving input in Daily Management meetings on the shop floor;
• Effectively and efficiently collaborate with multiple supporting departments within a Natural Team to successfully reach mutual targets;
• Learn from mistakes by sharing them with the team and come up with a solution to prevent them from reoccurring;
• Support product, safety, and manufacturing process improvements;
• Assist other manufacturing teams when cabin preparation work is complete or activities are limited.

Education and experience

To be successful as a Technician Cabin, you bring relevant technical education and practical assembly experience.

You have:

• At least a secondary vocational degree (MBO-3 or MBO-4) / Associate degree in: Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering / Electronics, Installation & Construction Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering;
• A mechanical, electrical, and/or technical background;
• Experience assembling large modules or working in an electrical, industrial, or (system) production environment is preferred;
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards such as NEN 3140 and NEN 1010 is a plus;
• Experience using production or enterprise systems such as SAP is preferred;
• Comfort working with computers for documentation and reporting tasks.

Other information

The Technician Cabin role is based in Veldhoven and operates in a 2‑shifts schedule inside the cleanroom/factory environment. The work is physically active.

Candidate will work in a 2‑shifts schedule + weekend rotation:

• Weekdays: 06:30 - 15:30 hours or 15:00 - 00:00 hours;
• Weekends: Once every four weeks from 07:00 - 16:00 hours.

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 47,500 euro and 53,500 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment and is based on a full‑time contract. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. As this is a shift‑based position you will receive a shift allowance on top of the indicated salary range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job‑related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
