Job summary

Unilode Amsterdam is seeking a skilled Technician to perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on aviation components in line with OEM and company standards. You will follow work orders, read technical publications, and ensure safety and compliance in daily operations.

Responsibilities include recording maintenance activities, keeping tools and workspace in good condition, and supporting continuous improvement and station reliability at our MRO facility in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or other relevant qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of aviation maintenance regulations and quality systems.
  • Ability to read technical publications, drawings, and work orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tracking tools.

Description

The Technician is responsible for performing high-quality repairs, maintenance, and inspections on aviation components in compliance with OEM technical publications and Unilode’s operational standards. This role ensures safety, efficiency, and compliance within Unilode’s MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities, contributing to smooth station operations and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform High-Quality Repairs and Maintenance

  • Conduct repairs in accordance with OEM technical publications and company MOE.
  • Identify and complete additional maintenance (re-work) requirements as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, aviation regulations, and safety standards.

Support Operational Efficiency and Compliance

  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities and promptly report discrepancies.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to operational and safety standards.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency.

  • Follow work orders and technical documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Support quality assurance and inspection processes to maintain Unilode’s repair standards.

The Small Print:

This role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekend and evening shifts. The ability to lift, pull, and push weights exceeding 65 lbs is necessary for daily tasks. Strict adherence to aviation safety regulations and quality standards is essential to maintain operational excellence.
