Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create and maintain developer documentation across APIs, SDKs, and integrations. You will collaborate with engineering and research teams to ensure accuracy and clarity.

You will document backend architectures, microservices, and event-driven data flows, shaping the developer experience with clear guides and onboarding materials.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a technical writer or documentation engineer.
• Experience creating developer docs (APIs, SDKs, integrations, workflows).
• Hands-on with Docusaurus or similar Docs-as-Code tools.
• Ability to document backend architectures (microservices, event-driven systems).
• Familiar with REST APIs, asynchronous communication, and data models.
• OpenAPI/Swagger experience is a plus.
• Excellent written English; able to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong collaboration with engineers, security and product teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with focus on documentation quality and developer experience.
