Job summary

A growing retail company in 's-Hertogenbosch is seeking a Technical Team Lead to scale the engineering team as the business expands internationally. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with architecture, roadmap input, and KPI-driven delivery.

You will work closely with the Head of Technology and stakeholders across product and operations to align technical work with strategic goals, in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical leader with ability to mentor engineers.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with cloud services.
• Experience setting and reporting KPIs for delivery.
• Fluent in Dutch; strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and grow a team of 5 engineers.
• Partner with Head of Technology on strategy and decision-making.
• Define, track and report core technical KPIs for visibility.
• Own the team's sprint planning and delivery commitments.
• Safeguard code quality and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, operations and stakeholders to align tech with business priorities.
• Contribute to growth plans including hiring and onboarding.
