Job summary

Supermicro is looking for a talented Application Engineer with in-depth knowledge of networking solutions, especially in switch products. You will provide technical support to enterprise customers and promote internal switch products to optimize customers' networking solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in networking switch products and excellent communication skills to interface with all levels of management in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Engineering or computer science degree with 4+ years related work experience.
• Strong sense of teamwork and organizational skills.
• Ownership and accountability for assigned projects.
• Integrity and trustworthy communication.
• Good communication (quick response to mails and calls).
• Strong affinity with PC/Server hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services and work directly with customers resolving technical issues including server systems, PC systems and peripherals.
• Identify technical issues and resolve hardware & software problems; replicate reported issues.
• Collaborate with sales to discuss services and technical issues.
• Continually develop knowledge base of current and new products; maintain relationships with customers.
• Provide service to resolve customer concerns and support 24/7 technical support via phone/email/CRM.

You will be responsible in providing technical supports to our enterprise customers, promote internal switch products to provide optimize customer's networking solution. The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in networking switch product as well as exceptional communication skill -- ability to interface with all level of management staffs in professional manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical services and work directly with customers resolving technical issues including server systems, PC systems and computer peripherals.
• Identifying technical issues and resolve computer hardware & software problems. Replicating reported issues.
• Establish and maintain lines of communication with sales team to discuss services and technical issues.
• Continually develop knowledge base of current and new products. Create and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Provide service to effectively resolve customer concerns and issues. Help 24hrs technical support phone/email/CRM and weekly FAQ.

Qualifications

• Engineering or computer science degree with 4+ years related work experience.
