Job summary

Serviceware Benelux in Leiden is seeking a technical consultant to install and configure our healthcare IT software across the Netherlands. You will work in a tight-knit team with functional and technical consultants, helping to integrate diverse health applications and set up (virtual) servers.

Expect involvement in AI-enabled development and ongoing client support. We value autonomy, problem solving, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, including software integrations, a HBO education,

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with software implementations and developing interfaces between systems.
• Experience in project-based work within healthcare IT is preferred.
• Knowledge of HL7 and the medical sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure our software in collaboration with clients and team members (functional & technical).
• Develop integrations with various healthcare applications.
• Configure (virtual) servers with Cloud Management; perform system and acceptance tests.
• Contribute to product development and refinement.

As a technical consultant at Serviceware Benelux in Leiden, you ensure that healthcare organizations can configure their operational processes in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This makes work much more enjoyable and easier for many of their employees!

You will have approximately 20 colleagues in Leiden and you collaborate within a team consisting of 2 functional consultants and 3 technical consultants. Your new office is located close to Leiden Central Station, making it easily accessible by public transport, bicycle, or car. The office is modern and fully equipped with all conveniences. Furthermore, you will regularly visit clients spread across the Netherlands. As a company, we are part of a larger group with 14 locations across 8 countries. These tasks are waiting for you

As a technical consultant, you are responsible for the successful installation and configuration of our software solutions. You carry out implementations in teams of at least one functional and one technical consultant. In addition, you work in a close-knit team where AI is playing an increasingly prominent role. You will have the freedom to navigate the latest developments within the healthcare IT market and AI together with your team. You will perform the following activities:

• Installing and configuring our software in close collaboration with our clients;
• Setting up and developing integrations with various healthcare applications;
• Configuring (virtual) servers in collaboration with Cloud Management;
• Performing system and acceptance tests;
• Contributing to the further development and refinement of our product.

You will manage multiple implementations simultaneously, with projects lasting between 2 and 8 months. After implementation, you continue to support the client and keep them informed of new developments.

What you have to offer

• Autonomy and problem-solving skills;
• At least 2 years of experience with:
  • Software implementations
  • Developing interfaces/integrations between systems
  • Project-based work
  • Knowledge of HL7 and the medical sector is a plus
• At least an HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level;
• Affinity with AI (leveraging AI for technical development; setting up agents; configuring MCP servers);
• Fluency in Dutch and English;
• Possession of a category B driver's license.
